Today, we are proud to mark 13 years of advising clients from across all five continents.
Thirteen years defined by trust, commitment, and a truly international outlook.
Congratulations to our team, and our sincere thanks to every client who has placed their confidence in us.
In Spain, the number 13 is often approached with a certain caution. Yet across many of the world’s oldest traditions, it has long carried a far more meaningful symbolism: continuity, renewal, transition, and the natural rhythm through which one cycle matures into the next.
At Konsell, we are pleased to embrace that more constructive reading of the number.

This week, we quietly mark our thirteenth anniversary as a boutique law and tax firm devoted to advising international clients with interests in Spain. Over these years, we have had the privilege of assisting individuals, families, entrepreneurs, investors and companies from across all five continents, often in matters that require not only legal and tax expertise, but also cultural understanding, linguistic clarity and sensitivity to the standards of international practice. That international focus is central to KONSELL’s public identity and areas of practice.
From the outset, our purpose has been clear: to provide specialist legal and tax advice in Spain to clients whose affairs extend beyond a single jurisdiction. In many cases, the questions brought to us are not purely domestic. They involve cross-border family arrangements, international tax exposure, property and investment decisions, succession planning, foreign residency issues, litigation risk, or the coordination of advisers in more than one country. KONSELL publicly presents this cross-border and multi-jurisdictional capability as a defining part of its work.
For our private clients in particular, much of our work has centred on areas where careful judgement, discretion and long-term thinking are essential. These include cross-border wealth structuring, succession and estate planning, international tax considerations, real estate and investment matters in Spain, and the orderly preservation and transfer of family assets across generations. Our role is often not simply to answer an isolated legal question, but to help clients move forward with confidence in situations where personal, family, tax and strategic considerations are closely intertwined. These are also among the private-client services highlighted on KONSELL’s website.
Over time, we have also come to value ever more deeply the importance of coordination. Many of the clients who turn to us already work with trusted advisers in their home jurisdictions, including accountants, solicitors, wealth advisers and family offices. We see it as part of our responsibility to work in close alignment with those professionals wherever appropriate, so that Spanish legal and tax advice forms part of a coherent international strategy rather than an isolated local response.
Thirteen years is not, in our view, a statement of arrival. It is a sign of progression. It reflects experience accumulated carefully over time, judgement refined through practice, and trust earned through consistent commitment to our clients’ interests. If the number 13 symbolises renewal and continuity, then it is a fitting number for a firm that remains focused on evolving with the needs of international clients while preserving the principles on which it was built: technical quality, personal attention, discretion, and a genuinely international outlook. KONSELL’s public materials similarly emphasise trust, excellence, people, technical expertise, multicultural understanding, and tailored service.
As we mark this anniversary, we do so with gratitude above all. Gratitude to our team, whose professionalism and dedication sustain the firm each day. Gratitude to our professional contacts and collaborating advisers in Spain and abroad. And, most importantly, gratitude to the clients and families who have placed their confidence in us over the years.
We remain committed to providing clear, discreet and considered legal and tax advice to international clients navigating complex decisions in Spain — not only for the present, but with the long term firmly in view.
